This is a fun game we play in Guidance to review the 7 Habits. I made up scenarios to go along with each habit, read the scenario and the children have to guess which habit it is. They then go to their board and cover that square. It's a great opportunity to see who knows their habits and also discuss the scenarios as we go along.
I like using this video to discuss issues with social isolation, and since it's Dr. Seuss' Birthday, I felt it only appropriate. Guiding Questions: What are the guiding questions for this lesson? Have you ever been "left out"? How did it feel? Why do people sometimes exclude others? How did the Sneetches change from the beginning of the story to the end? Why did the author probably write this text? Is there a lesson we can learn from it? What is the difference between Sneetches with stars and those without? **adapted from CPalms

Can you share a copy of these papers. I would love to do this with my class. Such a fun way to review the habits!
ReplyDeleteMy Lead class would like to use this with a parent lunch. May I have a copy?
